New Actineo assessor's platform launches
Developed in partnership between Actineo, a Verisk business, and JAROWA, the digital assessor's platform went live in March 2022. The new tool connects insurers and other clients directly with medical assessors. The platform makes it quick and easy to commission and manage assessments and exchange medical documentation, all in line with data protection regulations. Significantly reducing the admin workload for insurers' claims adjusters and for medical experts.

Fewer bodily injury claims, more cyclists injured during coronavirus pandemic
The restrictions on mobility during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 led to fewer road traffic accidents, meaning fewer bodily injuries. Evaluations conducted by ACTINEO have revealed that vehicle-related bodily injury claims have seen a particularly stark decline. The number of injured cyclists, on the other hand, has increased significantly compared to the previous year according to data collected by the Cologne insurtech firm. The top diagnoses and severity of injuries remained constant throughout the pandemic year.

The successful pilot and very first customer was Niederösterreichische Versicherung AG (NV).
