COLOGNE, 18 July 2023. Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK), a leading global data analytics and technology provider, announced today that Olav Skowronnek is stepping down from Verisk as of July 31, 2023. Samer Abou-Jaoudé, who has been serving as deputy managing director of Verisk’s Claims Solutions business in Continental Europe, will step up to lead Verisk’s Claims Solutions business as managing director for this growth market.

Klumb, a marketing and communications economist, has been leading operations and administration as part of the executive management team since 2015. Claims experts from the insurance industry will come together on 20/21 September 2022 for another "Claims Management & Assistance" congress in Leipzig. Claims experts from the insurance industry will come together on 28/29 September 2021 for the 14th edition of the "Claims Management & Assistance" congress in Leipzig. ACTINEO, insurtech company and market leader in digitisation and medical assessments for bodily injury claims, will be presenting its new TPA service and the new ACTINEO Cockpit module, a digital medical expert ordering platform, plus much more.

The restrictions on mobility during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 led to fewer road traffic accidents, meaning fewer bodily injuries. Evaluations conducted by ACTINEO have revealed that vehicle-related bodily injury claims have seen a particularly stark decline. The number of injured cyclists, on the other hand, has increased significantly compared to the previous year according to data collected by the Cologne insurtech firm. The top diagnoses and severity of injuries remained constant throughout the pandemic year.

On 1 January 2021, Marco Meisen will take over the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ACTINEO, the market leader in digitisation and medical assessments of bodily injuries. A financial computer sciences graduate with years of experience in agile management and development methods, Marco Meisen will guide the technological progress of the Cologne insurtech firm and continue to expand digital processes.

ACTINEO is expanding its services for insurers to also include services for care. Moving forwards, ACTINEO CARE will provide support in case of an injury with a modular service package for assessing and improving the medical care for injured parties.

After successfully entering the liability insurance and launching the service of invoice check, ACTINEO is now rolling out services for accident insurers in Austria as well. The successful pilot and very first customer was Niederösterreichische Versicherung AG (NV). For this regional insurer, ACTINEO is taking responsibility for collecting and digitising medical information when a claim is first made and for medical assessments of temporary invalidity.

Former Head of Medical Product Innovation, Dr Michael Miller, is taking over the position of Medical Director at ACTINEO, the market leader in digitisation and medical assessments of bodily injuries, with immediate effect.

ACTINEO has become one of the first service providers in Germany to obtain a telematics infrastructure (TI) interface approved by gematik. Bodily injury claims specialists will be able to use this e-health network to offer their insurance clients even more efficient document collection.
